157 +/- ac Hunting Tract with Pine & Hardwood Sawtimber in Lincoln Parish, La

This timberland tract southeast of Choudrant, LA has a lot of character with the mixed natural stand of approx. 134 acres of pine and hardwood sawtimber, approx. 23 acres of a cypress slough, and rolling topography…approx. 60' of elevation change from the slough area to the highest ridge on the north end. It will provide a new owner with opportunities for deer and small game hunting, some wood duck shoots, and locations for a secluded home site on one of the ridges overlooking the slough.

The timber was cruised in December 2025. Those figures are available for review. The January 2026 ice storm broke off pine limbs and some tops in spots, but the damage was limited. A nice interior trail allows easy access in and around the tract, but it will need to be “swept out” with some light dozer work to clear the fallen limbs in spots.

The tract fronts Hwy 556 near the southeast corner, but the main points of access are deeded servitudes to both southern corners. See the aerial map for these routes.
